Well it’s finally September! That means the fall season is around the corner and the temperatures will be cooler. I hope so anyways! It also means that this September 7th is Labor Day 2026! It falls on a Monday so you get a nice long holiday weekend.
All government offices, schools, banks, post offices and many small businesses will be closed. However most big stores and chain businesses will be open. In fact you can get some nice sale prices from all the Labor Day weekend sales going on around town.
Labor Day is the day we celebrate all of our hard working workers who keep America going. We all work hard to make a living, pay the bills and enjoy life. It’s nice to have a holiday that appreciates our hard work and gives most of us a day off.

Most people view Labor Day as the last summer holiday and the start of the fall season. Time to hit the beach, do a backyard barbeque or take in one of the theme parks. I have to tell you however if you do go to a theme park plan on big crowds and lots of traffic!
