Hello everyone, hope your week has been a good one! Tomorrow is the start of the 2026 Daytona Beach Bike Week! I know bike week does not have much to do with barbershops, but it is a major annual event here in Florida.
This year the 85th annual Daytona Beach Bike Week runs from February 27th to March 8th. Up to 500,000 bikers show up for this event! That is a LOT of motorcycles! While the main events are in Daytona, a lot of activities take place all over the central Florida area, including Orlando.
I myself have been to bike week every year for the past 20 years or so. I use to have two motorcycles way back when I was younger. But now I just go to bike week in my truck. I normally park in the big parking garage next to the water park on A1A by the beach.
Then I walk from there to the beach walkway and up the beach to Main Street. That is where you find a ton of biker shops, bars, food shops and much more. It’s the main center of activity as bikers of all kinds ride up and down the street, showing off their custom bikes and more.
Hundreds of bikes park on each side of the road all day and night. It is quite the sight to see! As you can imagine it is pretty loud all the time with hundreds of bikes going non-stop.
There are a lot of other places and things going on all over the town, but main street is one of the major attractions. The other major area to see custom bikes, bike related vendors and even get to ride a bike is at the Daytona Speedway.
During bike week they turn the front of the speedway stadium into a big showcase of all the different bike brands, food shops, bike week vendors hawking tons of different merchandise and lots more. You can see amazing custom bikes, trikes and one of a kind bikes.
Parking is free if you use the big grass parking lot they use each year off Williamson Blvd. Gate 40 I think. If you have a bike you can drive right into the vendor area and park. Actually if you have a motorcycle they have lots of places you can park!
All the major motorcycle brands will be there. You can test drive a motorcycle, slingshot, trikes and other unique vehicles you can’t see anywhere else. Check out one of the PatchStop biker patches tents to see hundreds of cool biker patches you can get.
If you have never been to Daytona Bike Week give it a try. The folks are very friendly and there is lots to see. I don’t recommend bringing kids however. It is loud and adult orientated with lots of bars and babes! However I have seen families there having a good time.
